Safety valve would need replacing when steam is leaking out from the bottom of the machine. Safety valve failure is most likely to be caused by user error, either
1. Not draining the machine at the end of shift
2. After draining the machine, not leaving the drain valve open.
It is important that you follow the correct start up and shut down procedure for the machine, which can be found in the user manual.
